Excellence in Reading Award Program

We're sure you've heard by now that "reading is FUNdamental" (and it is!), but it's also one of the smartest things you can do for yourself on a regular basis. If you need some suggestions about the best books to read for any level K-12 -- or if you just want to earn some free T-shirts! -- check out the Mensa Foundation's readers' program and download the book lists.

Lesson Plans & Activity Plans from Mensa

The Mensa Education & Research Foundation sponsors both lesson plans and activity plans for smart kids. The lesson plans include choices for grades Kindergarten through 12 and cover topics from Fibonacci numbers to the Seven Wonders of the World. They are designed to be completed with minimal adult help and can be done as part of your classwork or just for fun.

Are you looking for entertainment and intellectual challenge outside of school? Take a look at the Mensa Foundation's activity plans for help planning your next party.

Both sets of plans are available under the Parent/Teacher Resources link near the bottom of the page.
